selecting a wedding photographer when they are first faced with the

photographer of their choice was booked months ago.
Investigate, then select your photographer as soon as you possibly
can. Many photographers are booked a year in advance.
Select a photographer who is a specialist in weddings; one that is
familiar with wedding procedures and timing. He
will anticipate the bridal couples next move and will be in the
proper place at the proper time. Look at as much of the
photographer’s work as possible. Is it a style of photography that
you find attractive? Many studios offer various wedding
packages for you to choose from. Other studios offer
custom-tailored plans to help you buy only what you need and to help
you create a wedding story that will be uniquely suited to your
tastes.
"Special effects" in photographs are popular today. These
include softening techniques done with lenses and special filters,
as well as super impositions and silhouettes. When choosing a
photographer ask yourself these basic questions: "Does the bridal
party look relaxed in the sample pictures?"; "Do his/her candid
shots look like candid shots?"; "Is the quality of the photographs
good?"; "Will you enjoy working with him/her in all the excitement
of your wedding?"
In selecting a photographer, good communications is the key.
Remember, the photographer will spend your wedding day working
closely with you and mingling with your family and friends.
